Abstract

The aims of this study is to evaluate the effects of financial performances on profitability. The evaluation of financial performance is measured by Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Loan to Asset Ratio (LAR), Investing Policy Ratio (IPR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), Adversely Classified Asset (ACA), Net Open Position (NOP), Interest Rate Ratio (IRR), and Fee Based Income Ratio (FBIR) to Return On Equity (ROA), simultaneously and partially. Conventional Regional Development Banks as a subject of this study with a study period of quarter I, 2016 until quarter IV, 2020. This study used purposive sampling. Conventional Regional Development Banks of Sumatera Utara, Jawa Timur and Bali as the samples of this study. The result of this study revealed that LDR, LAR, IPR, NPL, ACA, FEP, IRR and FBIR have a significant effect on ROE simultaneously. The result of the partial test of LDR, IPR and FBIR have a negative coefficient and insignificant on ROA. ACA has a significant negative effects on ROA. LAR ,NPL, NOP and IRR have positive coefficient and insignificant on ROA
