Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of Activity, Liquidity, leverage, Institutional Ownership, and Managerial Ownership on Profitability. The population and sample of this research are all Consumer Goods Industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2020. The method used for sample selection is purposive sampling by obtaining a sample of 8 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in a row in the 2016-2020 period. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and multiple linear analysis. The results showed that DER had a significant negative effect on profitability (ROE), KM had a significant positive effect on profitability (ROE), and TATO had no significant effect on profitability (ROE), CR had no significant effect on profitability (ROE), KI had no significant effect on profitability. profitability (ROE). Simultaneously, the test results show that TATO, CR, DER, KI, and KM together affect the profitability (ROE) of Consumer Goods Industry companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
