Abstract
Profitability is very important for a company to carry out their operational activities because in general they cannot not survive without the ability to generate profits. This study aims to determine the effect of working capital, liquidity, activity and firm size on profitability. The population used in this study are consumer goods companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling. Data analysis was processed using SPSS 16. The results of the study have demonstrated that the variables of working capital and firm size of an effect on profitability, while liquidity and activity does not effect on profitability.
