Abstract
Consumer Goods company is one of the sectors that always grows over time as evidenced by the increasing consumer demand in meeting basic needs. One of the ratios most noticed by company management is the profitability ratio. The purpose of this study is to test the effect of working capital management, capital structure, and activity on profitability. There are 37 Consumer Goods companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2016-2020 that are used as samples. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Data is analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis through multiple regression analysis. The results showed that working capital management (WCTO) had a significant positive effect on profitability (ROA), capital structure (DAR) had a significant negative effect on profitability (ROA), and activity (TATO) had no effect on profitability (ROA). The implications of this study are consideration and input for the company's management in making decisions to establish working capital management policies and capital structures as an effort to increase company profitability.
