Abstract

The study aims to test the effect of Loan Deposit Ratio, Capital Adequacy Ratio, Operating Expenses of Operating Income and Net Interest Margin on Non Performing Loans. This research is focused on conventional banking companies registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK). This research is quantitative research. The sample used in this study was a conventional banking company registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) for the period 2015-2019. The sampling method used is purposive sampling with a sample count of 43 companies during the 5-year observation period. The data used is secondary data from the financial statements. The analytical technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) Ver. 24. The results of this study show that Loan Deposit Ratio, Capital Adequacy Ratio, Operating Expenses of Operating Income has a significant and positive effect on Non Performing Loans. While net interest margin negative has no effect on non-performing loans.
