Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of profitability, asset structure, business risk and investment opportunity sets on debt policy in manufacturing companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The sample selection of this research is 193 in the property and real estate sector companies listed on the IDX during the 2015-2019 period using the purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that profitability, business risk, set of investment opportunities have an effect and are significant on debt policy. Meanwhile, asset structure has no significant effect on debt policy.
