Abstract
The capital structure is a composition of long-term permanent funding used to meet the company's operational needs with long-term funding sources, such as debt and own capital. This study aims to determine the effect of sales growth, profitability, firm size, and asset structure on capital structure. The sampling technique in this study uses purposive sampling with the number of companies used as many as 33 large trading sub-sector companies for the 2016-2019 period. The analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study are sales growth and firm size have no effect on capital structure, while profitability (ROA) and asset structure have an effect on capital structure.
