Abstract
The inventory system is the arrangement of inventory data related to the logistics activities of a company. In Skomill (Millennial Community Center) Surabaya, a problem arose in the supply system. This problem is the background of the research. This researcher is used to find out the causes and the discovery of the system so that it can be applied to overcome these problems. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data obtained from interviews and observations are processed to focus on important things, including the theory of implementing the inventory system at Skomil Surabaya. To optimize the company's performance, the division of employee duties must be appropriate and should not be concurrently combined. This happened to Skomil Surabaya that the company lacked employees and lacked knowledge, limited space also resulted in frequent differences in physical inventory with computers. Skomil Surabaya does not have a large enough warehouse area, this is why the researchers found some mistakes against the company, to minimize this the researchers have given some directions and suggestions to the company. The implementation of procedures for the company is also not optimal as well as the implementation of directives for several new or old employees. The results of this study indicate that the inventory system carried out is in accordance with PSAK No. 14 but there are several procedures that have not been implemented properly.
