Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of agency cost, leverage, ownership structure on dividend policy in banking sector service companies. This study uses secondary data from annual reports on banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2015-2020. The data collection method in this study used purposive sampling method. The number of companies in this study were 45 companies that matched the sample criteria. The technique for analyzing the data uses multiple regression analysis using the SPSS version 25 application to see the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The results of this study explain that debt has an effect on dividend policy, while insider ownership, shareholder dispersion, collateral assets, free cash flow and institutional ownership have no effect on dividend policy.
