Abstract

Indonesia is a country with the largest Muslim population in the world, one of the important factors in the development of the halal industry ecosystem in Indonesia is Islamic banks. Islamic banks are one of the sectors driving economic growth by providing sharia financing products that facilitate the wider community in terms of business development. The purpose of this research is to find out the procedure for implementing business capital financing at Bank Syariah Indonesia, to find out the obstacles that occur in the process of implementing the distribution of loan funds, especially business capital financing and the efforts that can be made to overcome the obstacles that occur. The type of research used is descriptive research, the data sources are primary data and secondary data. Collecting data using interview method, documentation method, and literature review. The procedure for financing business capital at Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Bima Soetta 1 includes the stages of file submission, BI checking, survey of business locations, financing analysis, financing verification, contract and realization of financing, and the process of disbursing loan funds. The current obstacles for banks include the low level of public financial literacy towards sharia financing, the existence of non-performing financing, limitations in terms of field surveys during the current pandemic. Efforts are being made to develop information through digital marketing related to BSI's sharia financing products as well as information on financing submissions through the online system, and providing warning letters to financing customers in the event of problematic financing.
