Abstract
The role of Islamic bank is very large in helping customers to carry out daily transactions and worship needs. Islamic banking has one product that is intended to assist customers in planning hajj costs, namely hajj savings. This research is conducted to obtain information for implementation of wadiah contract in IB Hijrah Hajj saving PT. Bank Muamalat Indonesia, Tbk Nganjuk Sub-Branch Office. The data is obtained by using methods of observation, interview, and documentation. Based on the result from the research PT. Bank Muamalat Indonesia, Tbk Nganjuk Sub-Branch Office applies wadiah yad adh-dhamanah for contract of Ib Hijrah Hajj saving. The customer as a depositor of funds, the bank as the recipient, and if the customer’s deposit has reached the hajj portion, customer will represent the bank to deposit their funds and will be managed by BPKH (hajj financial Management Agency). Based on the result of discussion, the customer’s funds pure deposit. Bank do not provide profit sharing, however bank can provide bonuses to the customer without being previously required. By this result practice from PT. Bank Muamalat Indonesia, Tbk Sub- Branch Office has complied with the rules and regulation. Keywords : wadiah contract and hajj saving
