Abstract
Financial planning is important in managing family finances in order to achieve a prosperous life in accordance with financial goals. This research aims to examine the effect of income, financial literacy and financial attitudes on family financial planning. The sample obtained are 138 respondents who are married with a minimum income of Rp4,000,000.00 per month and live iin Surabaya. Data is analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling. The results of this research indicate that income has a significant positive effect on family financial planning. Financial literacy has no significant effect on family financial planning. Financial attitude has a significant positive effect on family financial planning. This study suggests providing knowledge or education related to literacy among families, especially related to aspects of credit, insurance, and investment.
