Abstract

Banks are financial institutions that function as intermediaries between two parties, namely those who need capital and those who have more capital. One of the indicators used to measure bank capital is CAR. CAR at a bank should continue to increase from period to period, but this is not the case for Go Public National Private Commercial Banks This study aims to determine whether LDR, IPR, APB, NPL, IRR, PDN, BOPO, FBR, NIM and ROA simultaneously and partially have a significant effect on CAR. This study uses secondary data taken with documentation. The data is taken from financial reports obtained from the Financial Services Authority at the National Private Commercial Bank in the first quarter of 2015 to the second quarter of 2020. The analysis used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that based on simultaneous data analysis (Test F) there was an effect of LDR, IPR, APB, NPL, IRR, PDN, BOPO, FBIR, NIM, and ROA on CAR with a significance value below 0.05. While the partial data analysis (t test) shows almost the same thing, namely LDR, IPR, APB, NPL, IRR, PDN, BOPO, FBIR, NIM, and ROA on CAR. The variable that has the most dominant contribution is NIM by 23.9 percent and has a significant positive effect on CAR. Meanwhile, the variable that has the smallest contribution is IPR, IRR, and BOPO, which is 0.0 percent.
