Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of working capital turnover, sales growth, and company size on the profitability of manufacturing companies. The population used in this study are basic industrial and chemical manufacturing companies that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015-2019 and publish complete financial reports during that period. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. The sample used in this study were 32 basic industrial and chemical manufacturing companies. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously working capital turnover, sales growth, and company size have a significant effect on company profitability. But partially, working capital turnover has a negative and insignificant effect on profitability, sales growth and company size has a significant positive effect on company profitability.
