Abstract
Financial literacy is a compulsory for everyone to avoid financial problems. This research seeks to examine the financial literacy among university students. The study primary data by questionnaires and the sample consist of 114 students and the target population of the study is from local Universities of Surabaya. Convenience sampling method is used in collecting the data. This study used multiple regression analysis. The independent variables used in this study is demographic factors include ethnic, seniority, and faculty whereby the dependent variable is the financial literacy. The results of this research show that ethnics and study program have a significant effect to financial literacy. Key words: Financial Literacy, Demographic Factors, College Students
