Abstract

The object of this study uses Food and Beverage companies which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the 2015-2019 period. The Food and Beverage company is a company that is very suitable for investing because it is a devensive company, which is a company whose business activities are not much affected by economis conditions. The Purpose of this study was to determine the effect of variables, profitability, liquidity, activity, firm size, leverage and inflation on stock return. The sample used in this research is Food and Beverage company. This research period starta form 2015 until 2019. The technique of data analysis in this research is descriptive analysis and the multiple linier regression analysis. The results provide evidence that ROE, CR, TATO, UP, Leverage and Inflation have a significant simultaneousli toward stock return. ROE and TATO partially has positive signficant influence toward stock return. CR and INF partially has negative insignificant influence toward stock return. Firm size have positive insignificant influence toward stock return. Leverage have negative significant toward stock return.
