Abstract

This study aims to examine the prediction of financial literacy, overconfidence, income, and risk tolerance on investment decisions in community at Gresik, Lamongan, and Surabaya. The sample in this study was investors in Gresik, Lamongan, and Surabaya with criteria income at least Rp 4,000,000, age 22-50 years, and have an investment in an account bank or real asset. There were 270 respondents but only 143 respondents could be used as respondents. The survey method in this study used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this study used regression logistics. Sampling method in this study using purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The results show financial literacy, overconfidence, and risk tolerance can't be predicted in an investment decision, but income can be predicted in an investment decision. This study is expected to provide an overview of how to choose a good and wise investment so that investors get the expected results.
