Abstract

Banks are financial institutions that accept deposits and distribute credit to the public. The bank has three main activities, namely raising funds, channeling funds and performing other services. The purpose of this study is to determine whether LDR, IPR, NPL, APB, IRR, PDN, BOPO and FBIR have a significant effect simultaneously. This study used a population group of business activities 4 commercial bank. The sample was selected based on purposive sampling technique. The data used are secondary data. This research period is from the first quarter of 2015 to the second quarter of 2020. PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia, PT. Bank Mandiri, PT. Bank Central Asia, PT. Bank Negara Indonesia as the sample bank. The results of this study explain that 1) LDR, IPR, NPL, APB, IRR, PDN, BOPO and FBIR simultaneously have a significant effect on ROA; 2) LDR partially has no significant negative effect; 3) IPR partially has no significant negative effect on ROA; 4) NPL partially has no significant positive effect on ROA; 5) APB partially has a significant negative effect on ROA; 6) IRR partially has a significant positive effect on ROA; 7) PDN partially has no significant positive effect on ROA; 8) BOPO partially has a significant negative effect on ROA; 9) FBIR partially has a negative and insignificant effect on ROA. The dominant variable is BOPO with a contribution of 45.0% higher than other variables. Keywords: Performance of Bank Finance, Return On Asset, Group of Business Activities 4 Commercial Bank.
