Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of good corporate governance on the performance of consumer goods companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample of this study were 11 consumer goods manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2015 to 2019. The sampling technique used was the purposive sampling method. The analysis technique uses multiple linear regression. The results of this study 1) The Board of Directors has a negative effect on financial performance (MVA), but has a positive effect on financial performance (ROA), 2) Independent Commissioners have a negative effect on financial performance (MVA & ROA), 3) Audit Committee has a positive effect on performance finance (MVA & ROA), 4) Managerial ownership has a negative effect on financial performance (MVA & ROA).
