Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of capital, business scale, efficiency, intermediation and risk of financing against profitability (ROA) on Islamic commercial banks. The variables used in this study are ETA, SIZE, BOPO, FDR, NPF and ROA. The population in this study is Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia registered with OJK. The sampling technique in this study is the purposive sampling technique with the criteria of Islamic commercial banks that publish the 2016 financial statements for the first quarter to 2019 for the third quarter. The data used in this study are secondary data taken from the website (www.ojk.go.id). The data analysis method in this research is multiple linear regression analysis using panel data. The results of this study indicate that ETA has a significant positive effect on profitability (ROA), SIZE has no significant effect on profitability (ROA), FDR has no significant negative effect on profitability (ROA), while BOPO and NPF have a significant negative effect on profitability (ROA).
