Abstract
Academic cheating is an act that is not commendable carried out in such a way for self-interest, Academic Fraud (Academic Fraud) is not new in the world of education, especially in Indonesia. Cheating on exams, whether looking at books, carrying small notes, searching for answers by browsing the internet via mobile phones, copying, and copying answers to friends' assignments is cheating that is often done by students today and there are several factors that influence it. This study aims to determine the factors that influence academic cheating through the Diamond Fraud dimension (pressure, opportunity, justification, ability). Respondents in this study were all STIE Perbanas students (S1 in Accounting, S1 in Management, S1 in Islamic Economics, D3 in Accounting, and D3 in Banking & Finance) who had committed academic fraud in the period 2015 to 2019, using non-probability sample collection methods sampling. This research is quantitative research. The method used in this study is multiple regression in conducting multiple regression objectives with the assistance of the SPPS 23 program. The results of this study indicate that opportunity influences academic cheating, while pressure, justification, and ability.
