Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the ability of banks to generate net income by using assets owned and to find out what are the factors that cause a decrease in ROA on BUSN listed on the IDX. This study examines the effect of liquidity, asset quality, sensitivity, and efficiency on ROA. The independent variables used in this study are LDR, IPR, NPL, APB, IRR, PDN, BOPO, and FBIR. While the dependent variable in this study is ROA. The research object used in this study is a national private commercial bank which is listed on the Indonesian stock exchange. The sampling technique in this study is purposive sampling. Besides that, the type of data used in this research is secondary data. The data collection method used in this study is documentation and analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques. The results of this study found that the variables LDR, NPL, APB, IRR, PDN, BOPO, FBIR, and IPR simultaneously have a strong relationship to ROA. Meanwhile, the BOPO variable partially has a significant effect on ROA. Meanwhile, the LDR, IPR, NPL, APB, IRR, PDN, and FBIR variables partially did not have a significant effect.
