Abstract

This research is a quantitative study using secondary data. The data used is the financial statements of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2015-2019. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of carbon credit, number of boards of directors, proportion of commissioners, and debt to equity on company performance. The samples of this study were basic and chemical manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2015 to 2019. The population of this study were manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis on SPSS. The total data used in this study were 45 companies per year with a total of 165 data for the five years of the study in accordance with the criteria previously given. The variables used in this study are carbon credit, number of boards of directors, proportion of commissioners, and debt to equity as independent variables and company performance as the dependent variable. The results showed that the number of boards of directors, the proportion of commissioners, and debt to equity had an effect on company performance, while carbon credit had no effect on company performance.
