Abstract
This research was conducted at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero), Tbk Sumenep Branch Office. The focus of research on one of the bank's products is time deposits. Deposits are deposits from third parties to banks whose withdrawals can only be made at a certain time. The objectives to be achieved from this research are to find out knowledge and get to know the time deposit procedures. The method used is qualitative and descriptive research with data collection techniques, namely interviews, documentation, literature study and observation. Based on research conducted, it is known that the benefits of time deposits have higher interest rates than other bank products. Open time deposits have certain terms and conditions. If the terms and conditions have been fulfilled, the next step is the procedure for opening a time deposit. The calculation of the time deposit interest is calculated based on the agreed time period. Disbursement of time deposits can be done in cash or non-cash. If the deposit customer does not wish to withdraw the time deposit, then the deposit can be extended automatically.
