Abstract
Capital market in Indonesia is a growing market and in development is very vulnerable to macroeconomic conditions in general. The condition is influenced by several factors: the price of gold and oil prices. The purpose of this study was to test simultaneously and partially influence the world gold price and oil price on JCI mining sector. The method used in this research is using Regression Analysis test, the coefficient of determination, F test and t test. The data used is secondary data covering the Indonesian Stock Exchange, Historical Data Gold and Oil World. The results of this study indicate that the variable price of gold is a significant negative effect on the stock price index and the mining sector in world oil prices is a significant positive effect on the stock price index of mining sector.
