Abstract

Operating costs and operating income (BOPO) is a comparison between operating costs and operating income in measuring the level of efficiency and the ability of a bank to carry out its operations. The title of this research is The Effect of Liquidity, Asset Quality, and Sensitivity to BOPO in Conventional Regional Development Banks. This study aims to analyze whether the LDR, IPR, APB, NPL, APYD, IRR, and PDN simultaneously have a significant effect on BOPO in Conventional Regional Development Banks. The sample of this research is Regional Development Banks, namely: PT. BPD East Java, PT. BPD Central Java, PT. BPD DKI. Data is secondary data and the data collection method in this study is data collection from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Publication Report from the first quarter of 2015 to the fourth quarter of 2019. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive analysis and using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the LDR, IPR, APB, NPL, APYD, IRR, and PDN simultaneously had a significant effect on BOPO at the Conventional Regional Development Bank. The NPL and PDN variables partially have a negative and insignificant effect on BOPO in Conventional Regional Development Banks. On the other hand, the IRR variable partially has a significant negative effect on BOPO at Conventional Regional Development Banks.
