Abstract

Banks as financial institutions in their operations must got the trust from the public. In this regard, banks not only prioritize services but also pay attention to the level of profitability of a bank and to achieve profits. The purpose of this study is to determine the LDR, IPR, LAR, APB, NPL, IRR, BOPO, FBIR and ROA simultaneously and partially have a significant effect on Capita Adequacy Ratio (CAR). The population is the Bank Pembangunan Daerah. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. This study uses secondary data from published financial statements from the first quarter of 2014 to the second quarter of 2019 so that the selected bank is Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jambi, Bank Pembangunan Daerah Kalimantan Tengah, and Bank Pembangunan Daerah Sulawesi Tenggara. Data were processed using SPSS version 16.0 with the F test and t test. The results revealed that LDR, IPR, LAR, APB, NPL, IRR, BOPO, FBIR and ROA simultaneously had a significant effect on CAR in the Bank Pembangunan Daerah. The partial IPR ratio is not a significant positif effect on the CAR ratio, and the partial IRR ratio has a significant effect on the CAR ratio at Bank Pembangunan Daerah. LDR and LAR have an insignificant positive effect on CAR ratios on Bank Pembangunan Daerah and on the other hand APB and NPL have an insignificant negative effect on CAR ratios on Bank Pembangunan Daerah. The most dominant variable is the BOPO with a contribution of 37.3 percent. The implication of this study is to follow the conformity of bank rules, by taking into account the credit channeled so that the optimization of funds owned by banks can be done, this can benefit business people besides the bank itself. For banks to provide opportunities to increase profitability
