Abstract
Working capital is defined as capital used by companies to finance daily operations. Working capital can also be interpreted as the whole current assets owned by a company. Working capital is expressed as current assets or short-term assets, such as; cash, accounts receivable, inventory. The purpose of this study is to test the effect of cash turnover, receivables turnover, and inventory turnover on the profitability of Consumer Goods Industry companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2014-2018. There are 31 companies used as the sample. The analytical techniques used in this study are deskriptif, classic assumption test consisting of normality test, multicolinierity, autocorrelation and heterocedasticity, multiple regression analysis, and t test & F test. The result of the research shows that cash turnover variable have no significant effect on profitability and receivable turnover & inventory turnover variables have significant effect on profitability of Consumer Goods Industry companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2014-2018.
