Abstract

The assessment of bank soundness is used to evaluate bank’s performance against problem and conditions that bank’s faced and to overcome bank weaknesses. This aim of this study to determine the significant effects of NPL, Loan Impairment Loss, PDN, IRR, LDR, GCG, and CAR on bank soundness significantly and partially. This study used logistic regression analysis. The results of study revealed that NPL, Loan Impairment Loss, PDN, IRR, LDR, GCG and CAR have significant effect simultaneously on bank soundness. NPL, IRR and BOPO have insignificant negative effect partially on the soundness of banks. Loan impairment loss, PDN, LDR, FBIR, GCG and CAR have insignificant positive effect on bank soundness. On the second stage of this study also revealed that loan impairment loss, PDN, IRR and FBIR have the significant effects simultaneously on the soundness of the bank. Loan impairment loss has a significant negative effects on bank soundness partially, but PDN insignificant negative effects. However, IRR and FBIR have insignificant positive effect partially on bank soundness Keywords: Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance (GCG), Capita, and Bank Soundness.
