Abstract
Wealth management is an interest in doing business or trade. At present there are still many traders who do not understand the importance of financial management, one of which is fruit traders. The purpose of this study is to study and analyze the way the merchant community manages its finances based on the sharia perspective wealth management process. Data collection was carried out by interviewing ten informants from the fruit traders community provided at the Tanjungsari Fruit Market in Surabaya and ten informants from the family (wife) of the fruit traders to obtain validity data. The data obtained is processed and analyzed using case studies, and won its validity. Based on the results of this study, sharia perspective wealth management must implement wealth creation, wealth accumulation, wealth protection, wealth purification, and wealth distribution. Wealth management implemented by the fruit traders community in the Tanjungsari Market in Surabaya is to set aside a large portion of the money received in savings, investment and to distribute for zakat, donation, alms and endowments. Researchers hope the results of this study can be useful for Muslim entrepreneurs and business people throughout Indonesia.
