Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of demographic factors in terms of education and income level, and saving motives for the demand for Islamic insurance. The number of respondents in this study were 163 people. Criteria for respondents in this study include; people who already have Islamic life insurance, act as decision makers in making purchases, are domiciled in the Surabaya, Sidoarjo and Gresik regions, and have a total income of at least Rp. 4,000,000 per month. The data analysis technique used in this study is Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using the WarpPLS 6.0 application program. The results of this study explain that education has an unsignificant positive effect on demand for Islamic insurance, while the level of income and saving motives has a significant positive effect on demand for Islamic insurance
