Abstract
This study aims to analyze the relationship between Parental Income, Financial Knowledge, and Locus of Control on Financial Management Behavior of College Students in Surabaya. Questionnaire is used to collect the data. The sample consists of 304 diploma and undergraduate students in which they were taken by means of Purposive Sampling. The independent variable are Parental Income and Financial Knowledge, the dependent variable is Financial Management Behavior, and the mediation variable is Locus of Control. Using Structural Equation Modeling on WarpPLS, this research found that no direct effect Parental Income to Financial Management Behavior. Locus of Control mediates the positively effect of Financial Knowledge on Financial Management Behavior, and Locus of Control is positively related to Financial Management Behavior.
