Abstract

The objectives of this research is to analyze the influence of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Financing (NPF), Net Operating Margin (NOM), Operational Efisiensi Ratio (OER or REO) and Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) to Return On Asset (ROA) as a proxy of Islamic Bank’s profitability in Indonesia during 2012-2013 periods. This research used seven samples of Islamic Bank. The result showed that overall the research variables CAR, NPF, NOM, REO and FDR simultaneously have a significant impact on the level of profitability (ROA) in Islamic Banks. The result of this research shows that CAR, NPF, and FDR has a positive influence on ROA, but it doesn’t significantly influence. Meanwhile, NOM have a positive and significant influence on ROA, REO variable has a negative and not significant influence on ROA. The result of this research is expected to serve as a guideline for the Islamic Bank’s management in managing their company. Keyword : CAMELS, CAR, NPF, NOM, REO, FDR, ROA
