Abstract
Indonesia has experienced advanced economic growth. One of the evidence showing the progress of the Indonesian economy is the free market competition in Southeast Asia which is often called the ASEAN Economic Community (MEA) which emerged at the end of 2015. Entering the ASEAN Economic Community by 2015, the national manufacturing industry is considered not ready to compete with similar industries Asia-Southeast Asia. One of the sectors affected by the MEA is the manufacturing sector that deals with the areas of capital, goods and services as well as labor. The existence of the ASEAN Economic Community of manufacturing companies in Indonesia should be able to make improvements in order to maintain its performance so as to compete with companies in ASEAN and internationally. This study aims to determine the effect of current ratio, debt ratio, return on assets and sales growth on financial distress in manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) period 2011-2015. The sample in this research are 78 manufacturing companies with sampling technique purposive sampling.Teknik data analysis in this study using logistic regression analysis.Based on the results of testing in this study by using logistic regression analysis showed that the current ratio and sales growth has no significant effect on the financial condition distress while the variable debt ratio and return on assets have a significant effect on the condition of financial distress.
