Abstract
The bank's financial performance is a description of the bank's financial condition for a certain period either covering the fund raising aspect and its fund distribution. Performance is an important thing every company should achieve everywhere, because performance is a reflection of the company's ability to manage and allocate its resources. In addition the main purpose of performance appraisal is to motivate employees in achieving the goals of the organization and in complying with established standards of behavior. This study aims to examine the influence of Good Corporate Governance (GCG), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), and Operational Cost of Operating Income (BOPO) to the financial performance of banks as measured by Return On Assest (ROA) at Indonesia Securities (IDX). The population in this study are all conventional banks that have been operating in Indonesia and have prepared GCG self assessment report and financial report from 2012-2016, while for the sample in this research is done by using purposive sampling method, with purpose to get Samples that fit the research objectives. The number of samples used in this study are conventional commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2012-2016. Of the 42 listed companies, only 29 companies meet the criteria of the established research sample. Data analysis techniques performed using classical assumption test and hypothesis testing using multiple regression analysis with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics 23 for windows. The results showed that GCG and CAR had no significant effect on Return On Assest (ROA). While BOPO has a negative and significant effect on Return On Assest (ROA).
