Abstract
Working capital is a measure of both a company's efficiency and its short-term financial health. liquidity is a measure of the ability of a debtor to pay their debts as and when they fall due. The purpose of this study is to test the effect of cash turnover, receivables turnover, inventory turnover and liquiduity on the profitability of chemical Industry listed in Indonesia Go Public during 2011-2015. There are 9 companies used as the sample. This study used purposive sampling method in determining the sample and multiple linear regression analysis to examine the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable. The results of this study indicate that cash turnover has partially insignificant positive effect on profitability, receivables turnover has partially insignificant negative effect on profitability, next inventory turnover and liquidity has partially significant positive effect on profitability. Key words: Cash Turnover, Receivable Turnover, Inveontory Turnver, Liquidity and Profitability.
