Abstract
Cash holding is available cash owned by companies that are ready to be invested in physical assets and distributed to investors. The company must be able to estimate the level of cash holding it has so that the company's funding needs can be met. Factors that influence the cash holding is firm size, leverage, working capital and growth opportunity. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of firm size, leverage, working capital and growth opportunity on cash holding. The method of collecting samples in this study is a non probability sampling method with secondary data taken through the website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This study uses a sample of manufacturing companies, with a final sample of 401 companies. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. The results of this study describe that leverage and working capital affect cash holding, meanwhile firm size and growth opportunity do not affect the cash holding.
