Abstract

This research purposes to examine variables that impact the growth of bank credit in regional development in Indonesia. There are five variables used in this study. First, the growth of third party fund (GDPK), minimum mandatory checking account (GWM), and growth of equity (GEK) as micro variables. Besides, macroeconomic variable which influence the credit growth is BI rate, and inflation. Data used in this research is quantitative secondary data adopted from Bank of Indonesia. The utilized data analysis technique is descriptive and statistic analysis. Analysis of statistic used is multiple linier regression, F-test, and t-test. The result shows that GDPK, GEK, GWN, BI rate, and inflation have significant effect towards the credit growth overall. But partially, from those five variables, GDPK gives the most significant towards the credit growth. Key words : growth of third party funds, growth of equity, GWM, BI rate, inflation.
