Abstract

Stock return is the level of profit that will be received by investors on the investment they made. This study aims to determine the effect of probability ratio with Return On Assets (ROA) and Earnings Per Share (EPS), solvency ratio with Debt To Equity Ratio (DER), market value ratio with Price Earnings Ratio (PER), and firm size to stock return. The population in this study is infrastructure, utility, and transportation sectors listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange during period 2012-2016. The sampling method in this study is by using purposive sampling so that have 20 companies. The analysis techniques in this study is using by multiple regression analysis with the help of SPSS 21. The results of this study indicate that the variable of profitability ratio with Return On Assets (ROA) has a significant effect on stock return. Meanwhile, probability ratio with Earnings Per Share (EPS), solvency ratio with Debt To Equity Ratio (DER), market value ratio with Price Earnings Ratio (PER), and firm size have no significant effect on stock return.
