Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of liquidity, asset quality, market sensitivity, fee based income, and interest margin on efficiency in Regional Development Bank by using LDR, IPR, NPL, APB, IRR, PDN, FBIR, and NIM As well as to analyze whether these independent variables together have a significant influence on efficiency at the Regional Development Bank.The sample of this research consists of three banks namely BPD East Kalimantan , BPD Riau and Kep. Riau, and BPD West Sumatera. This study uses secondary data, where the data collection method used is purposive sampling, where data obtained from the financial statements of the Regional Development Bank in the first quarter of 2012 until the fourth quarter of 2016. Analytical techniques used are descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis The results show that LDR, IPR, NPL, APB, IRR, PDN, FBIR, and NIM together have a significant influence on efficiency in Regional Development Banks. APB variable partially has a negative effect is not significant to the efficiency of the Regional Development Bank. The variables of IPR, IRR, FBIR, and NIM partially have a significant negative effect on the efficiency of the Regional Development Bank. The LDR and NPL variables have partially positively insignificant effect on the efficiency of the Regional Development Bank. PDN variables partially have a significant positive effect on efficiency at the Regional Development Bank. The dominant variable which influence on efficiency on this study is NIM.
