Abstract
This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the wider voluntary disclosure. Voluntary disclosure is needed by investors and other users in making better decisions because they are considered obliged to disclose insufficient in providing information to investors. Factors studied in this research are liquidity, profitability, public stock ownership, firm size and listing age. The sample of this study is secondary data from Indonesia Stock Exchange in the form of annual report of companies registered in 2013-2015. Determination of sample using purposive sampling method. Total sample in this research is 39 company. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis. This is because the variables are tested for more than one independent variable. The results show that profitability, firm size and age of listing affect the wide range of voluntary disclosure, while the liquidity variable, public shareholding has no effect on the area of voluntary disclosure.
