Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of Return On Assets (ROA), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Loan Deposit Ratio (LDR) and BI RATE on Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) of Non-Foreign Exchange Commercial Banks registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The population in this study is a company registered in the Financial Services Authority in the banking industry sector. The banking industry companies that were sampled were Non-Foreign Exchange Commercial Banks in Indonesia in the 2013-2017 OJK period. The technique used to determine the sample is purposive sampling and then obtained as many as 28 banks as research samples. The analytical method used in this study is descriptive test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test and hypothesis test. The results of this study indicate that Return On Assets (ROA) has a negative effect on Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) while Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) , Loan Deposit Ratio (LDR) and the BI RATE have no effect on Non-Foreign Exchange Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) registered in the OJK for the 2013-2017 period. .
