Abstract
The role of intellectual capital in the process of value creation and understanding of the performance on banking companies is very important to be known by each individual in decision-making. The purpose of this study is to analyse the role of intellectual capital influence on financial performance, the firm’s economic performance and stock performance on banking companies in Indonesia. The population of this study is banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the years 2011-2013 for 75 companies. The results of this study indicate there is a association between Intellectual capital which is value added capital employed coefficient (VACA) and the value added of intellectual capital coefficient (VAIN) with financial performance which is Return On Asset (ROA) and Return On Equity (ROE), the firm’s economic performance which is Operating Income /Sales (OIS) and stock performance which is Market to Book Value (MBV) and Price Earning Ratio (PER) on banking companies.
