Abstract
Bank have an important role in public live because bank is financial institution whose main activity is to collect funds from the public and distribute the funds back into the community to improve people’s lives. Bank also as an industry in its business activities rely on the public trust, therefore banking performance evaluation is considered important to monitor how the bank’s development from year to year. Purpose of this research is to analyze effect of the Non Performing Loan (NPL), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Good Corporate Governance (GCG), and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) on earning growth. The population of this study is banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during the period 2010-2014. The data used in this research was secondary data as 15 samples with purposive sampling. The analysis technique used was multiple linier regression analysis, F test and t test. The F test result indicate that the variable Non Performing Loan (NPL), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Good Corporate Governance (GCG), and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) simultaneously significant effect on the variable earning growth, while partially by using the t test showed that the variable Non Performing Loan (NPL) has no significant effect on earning growth, variable Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) has no significant effect on earning growth, variable Good Corporate Governance (GCG) has significant effect on earning growth and variable Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) has no significant effect on earning growth.
