Abstract
This study aimed to examine the effect of intellectual capital on the financial performance of banking. Independent variables used in this study was that intellectual capital is measured by VAIC, while the dependent variable is financial performance consists of Return on Assets and Return on Equity. The sample was banking companies go public in Indonesia Stock Exchange with a sample period from 2009 to 2013. Data collected by purposive sampling method. The sample used in this study were 25 companies each year. This study used WarpPLS software for data analysis. These results showed that intellectual capital provides significant impact on the financial performance of banking . Key words : Intellectual Capital (IC) and financial performance of banking
