Abstract

Funding is one of the Bank’s way to get new customers. And the products of funding Bank’s is Saving, Giro, and Deposito. In a Conventional Bank,they use Interest Rate for the deal. But is prohibited in sharia way. Therefore, there to get a new solution, and that is to establish a sharia Bank. Sharia Bank didn’t use rate for the deal but they are using another contract which one of them is called Al-Modaraba.Modaraba Funding its means Profit sharing. As a name, Bank and Customers make the deal about the profit share percentage.In this case, the author is explaining about Modaraba Funding in Bank Syariah Bukopin. The purpose of this study is to find out about Modaraba Funding like the system they used, the obstacle, the different between Modaraba and Widia, also the advantages for the Bank and the customers.
