Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of profitability, managerial ownership, growth, and firm size on dividend policy in the consumer goods on Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample used in this study were 16 consumer goods companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2013-2018 period. The analysis technique in this study used multiple linear regression. The result of this study indicate that the variable profitability and firm size has a significant positive effect on dividend policy, while the variable for managerial ownership and growth is not significant on dividend policy. The implication of the result for the company is to put attention to profitability because high profitability will produce an optimal dividend policy.
