Abstract
The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of corporate social responsibility on corporate value with financial performance as amoderating variable on basic industry and chemical companies sector listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used in this study are financial statements in 2013-2017. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis and Moderator Regression Analysis (MRA). The sample was selected using purposive sampling technique, so that number of sample used in this research was 302. Based on the study, obtained several conclusions as follows:1) Corporate social responsibility has not a effect on corporate value 2) Financial performance has effect on corporate value 3) Financial performance did not moderate the relationship between corporate social responsibility and corporate value.
