Abstract
This study aimed to examine the effect of the leverage, liquidity, the board of commissioners, and institutional ownership to financial distress. The population used in this study in manufacturing companies the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2014-2018. The sampling technique used in this research is using purposive sampling technique. The analytical method used is using logistitic regression with a significance level of 0.05. The test results showed that the leverage and institutional ownership of research not affect the financial distress while the liquidity, and the board of commissioners affect the financial distress.
