Abstract
This research aims to obtain information and empirical evidence of the effect of good corporate governance (managerial ownership & institutional ownership), profitability, and size on debt policy in mining companies. The population in this research are all mining companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the period 2015-2018. The sample were take in this research as many as 96 of observational data that meets the criteria for the research sample. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The method used in this research is a quantitative method by using WarpPLs vers 6.0. The result of this research show that good corporate governance (managerial ownership and institutional ownership) does not have effect on company’s debt policy, profitability has a negative effect on the company's debt policy, and size does not have effect on company's debt policy.
